Came the first sems.. lost in seas..like the Pirates of the Caribbean.... Pheww.... Pheww.... never ending Phews... eager to write off the last.... still searching for the dimmest light ... journey continued for at least one and half month...
Finally... came the day Dec 3....
Having done away with the semes, I wished I could enjoy my vacation to the core.... But things did not look up as I sat with You tube videos and went into movie-watching mode..... Wanted to shatter the self arrested, so decided to breath the fresh air..... Oh my god, its already 7:30 pm, still lazy to enjoy. Me along with ma friends went to Bukit Batok MRT.Started a 45+ min journey towards Orchard.
During the train journey,it was amusing as we went into the topic "Most thrilling experiences in my life is...."....And started to know each other experiences. Time flew by and reached Orchard MRT. The MRT was designed so well, that we did not knew our exit. Climbed two escalators towards the entrance of Ion, one of the biggest malls I have seen in Singapore.
Exited... and excited.... saw an X-mas tree.... beautifully decorated and amazingly lit up.... rounded it off for few mins... Kids yelling at a scenic display of water works... Felt like this is the place to be .... and caught up with the common disease.... its called "taking photos".....
Strolled on one of the platforms.... all the shops wonderfully decorated.... saw a large display of talents... one group singing their carols... another dancing.. Three fellows with a big mustache stood up for photos.... Two flex-girls displayed their gymnastic talent.... another blind woman tuning her own composition... filled the night for us....
Went for an hour.... the festive was so good that it understood our thrist... advertisers gave a free drink along side the road... Yuppy Happy....
Crossed to the other side of the road, came the soldiers... dressed to suit their appearences... Snaps... Snaps.. Snaps... was the one running in my mind...
Then came the stage performances... the music was too loud... which pushed us into a shop that I later regretted.... price of a plain white T shirt... 160$.... something which I can easily afford... So ran off from the place... into the Orchard MRT....
Crowded it was... We pushed ourselves out to wait at Ang Mo Kio.... Three trains passed.. Crowded still.... Christmas celebrations are on... We looked at our hungry faces..... boarded the very next train... singing the carol .... "standing all the way".... Dined at nearby Muslim food centre.....
Back to the solitory room......
Ay ay Sir, Ship Ahoy Seaward ho !!!
